Don’t be that guy.
Yes, “that guy,” the one that screams out loud when he is lifting 10-pound weights as if everyone cared.
The reality is: we all know that guy; at least have seen one or you may be him.
There are many reasons why I, personally, go to the gym. Sometimes it’s because I want to reach my 10,000-steps goal, or simply because I want to relax. Other times, actually most of the times, it’s because I ate too much of that left over chocolate cake. But whatever my reason may be, there is one thing I never fail to see and that is the different versions of “that guy,” the one that makes you question your life choices and his.
And to give you a little insight of what I am talking about, I will tell you some characteristics of “that guy.”
You know, the one that keeps looking at himself in the mirror with the same look you gave that hamburger you couldn’t eat last week and you made yourself order something a little more healthy, but the table in front of you ordered that greasy burger you wanted. Okay? Remember that look?
Well, that is the look of “that guy” staring at himself. Worst part? He is in the middle of the mirror and you need to see whether or not your squatting position is right. Here is the deal, man: I don’t care if you are looking at yourself in the mirror and flex harder every time you do, but at least MOVE to the side. Since you seem to want a moment for yourself, this will make it easier for the both of us.
I will make this sassy post short and simple. Dudes, I am glad you are doing something for your health, I am, but please give us non-gym heads a break. We want to look good just as much as you do but our visits to the gym will be a lot less painful if you would blend in.
P.S: You are more than welcome to say “let everyone do whatever they want,” but in the inside you sure as hell know I said whatever you were thinking or if you didn’t, chances are you have never stepped a foot in a gym.
As always, I am Sassy C and I am entitled to my own opinion. I am responsible for what I said, not for what you understood.
I am sassy, but you love it,
XOXO, Fusion FM.
